Kevin choose AdventHealth for residency after completing several of his APPEs with AdventHealth and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. He appreciates the wide variety of learning opportunities and teaching sites presented by AdventHealth. Kevin is most excited for starting AdventHealth residency PGY1 to further develop his skills as a new pharmacist and gain a knew practical knowledge in the field. Outside of work Kevin enjoys participating in a wide variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and kayaking. He loves the National Parks and his goal is to visit all of them. Having grown up in Orlando, Kevin is not new to the Orlando area but enjoys visiting the natural springs and searching for new kayaking spots. He also enjoys visiting the theme parks with his family and friends. Kevin's career goals post-residency is still flexible as he has many interests, but he hopes to narrow those as he completes his PGY-1 program. He wants to continue working within acute care in a hospital setting following his residency.
Alexander Leaman, PharmD

Pharmacy School: The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy
Dr. Leaman chose AdventHealth Celebration for residency because of his positive interactions with the preceptors and the wide variety of elective rotations available. Alexander is most excited for rotations in critical care, cardiology, and emergency medicine. Outside of work, Alexander enjoys exercising, going to new restaurants, arranging music, and spending time with his fiancée Teddi and two cats, Zelda and Zuko. Alexander is new to the Orlando area, and hopes to go to Universal Epic Universe at least once this year. After completing PGY1 residency, Dr. Leaman plans to complete a PGY2 in critical care or cardiology, ultimately pursing board certification and working as a clinical specialist, precepting students and contributing to research.
