
Darci Conklin, PharmD

Pharmacy school: University of Florida College of Pharmacy, Orlando Campus
Dr. Conklin chose AdventHealth Celebration for her residency training due to the large variety of ambulatory care practice settings offered and the reputation of both AdventHealth and this ambulatory care-focused program. She was also drawn to inviting energy and the kindness shown by the staff, which helped to promote a positive environment. Dr. Conklin hopes to gain further clinical experience and confidence as a practicing pharmacist while caring for patients with various chronic conditions. She also is looking forward to building lasting connections with patients. Outside of work, Darci loves going to Universal, baking, walking her dog, and spending time with family and friends. Darci not new to the Orlando area, however, she is excited to continue to explore what the Orlando has to offer. Upon completion of residency, Darci’s career goals include obtaining BCACP and CDCES certifications, as well as practicing as an ambulatory care pharmacist in either diabetes management or anticoagulation. Darci also has a passion for academia and hopes to work as a professor and/or preceptor to pharmacy students.

Sheila-Marie Payne, PharmD

Pharmacy school: Wayne State University
Dr. Payne chose AdventHealth Celebration for residency because of the amazing staff and the close proximity to the Disney parks. Sheila is looking forward to meeting everyone and building relationships with patients in the multiple ambulatory care clinics. Sheila enjoys going to the gym, walks outside, going to the beach, and traveling. Sheila is new to the Orlando area and would love your recommendation on the best Disney parks and experiences to visit! Sheila's career goal post residency is to be an ambulatory care pharmacist in a Diabetes or Transitions of Care clinic.

William Freeman, PharmD
Hometown: West Palm Beach, FL
Pharmacy school: Nova Southeastern University: Barry & Judy Silverman College of Pharmacy
Dr. Freeman chose AdventHealth Celebration due to the intensive focus on Ambulatory Care experiences and the warm welcoming environment. Dr. Freeman is most looking forward to building relationships with the patients as well as developing his clinical expertise. William enjoys gaming, music, time with family, sporting events, and fishing. William is looking forward to attending Orlando Magic games and experiencing all the new restaurants. William's Career goals post residency is to obtain BCACP Certification and to practice as an ambulatory care pharmacist in the fields of Diabetes, Cardiology, Family Medicine, or Women's Health.
