Dr. Leon chose AdventHealth to challenge herself and maximize her learning experience in cardiology. The diverse patient population and high acuity levels at AdventHealth offer ample opportunities to gain exposure to a wide range of complex cardiovascular conditions and cases, helping her become the best pharmacist possible for her patients. She is especially excited to work with advanced cardiothoracic surgery and mechanical circulatory support, as well as pulmonary hypertension. Outside of pharmacy, Dairene enjoys exploring new places and getting together with her family. Dairene is a Florida native but new Orlando resident. She is hoping to spend time outdoors and visit the natural springs. After residency, Dairene plans to become a board-certified cardiology clinical specialist with a focus on advanced heart failure. She also hopes to precept students and residents.
