General Information:
- Positions available: Two full-time, 12-month commitment
- Estimated annual stipend: $53,580 + meeting travel support
- 12 months of immediate health insurance

Required Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree
- Possession or eligibility for Florida licensure
- Participant in the National Matching Service and PhORCAS
- The following application materials must be submitted by the deadline: curriculum vitae, 3 letters of recommendation utilizing the PhORCAS template, letter of intent, transcripts from all colleges of pharmacy attended

Learning Experiences
With the exception of the longitudinal experiences, learning experiences are five (5) weeks in duration unless otherwise noted or part of a customized resident plan.
Core (Required) Learning Experiences:
- Orientation/Intro to General Medicine
- Internal Medicine/Family Medicine
- Infectious Diseases/Antimicrobial Stewardship
- Emergency Medicine
- Critical Care
- Pharmacy Administration
Elective Learning Experiences:
- Advanced Infectious Diseases/Antimicrobial Stewardship
- Oncology
- In collaboration with AdventHealth System:
- Cardiology
- Clinical Leadership
- Advanced Cardiology
- Advanced Critical Care
- Advanced Oncology
Longitudinal Learning Experiences:
Minimum in 12-month year, note that more may be assigned during rotational experiences
- One medication use evaluation
- One practice-related advancement or quality improvement project including:
- Institutional review board and Office of Research Administration approval
- External presentation of the project or submission for presentation at a local, state, or national meeting
- Journal worth peer review manuscript of the project
- One hour accredited continuing education presentation
- Pharmacy Clinical/Operational Staffing
- Medication Safety
- Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacotherapy/Metabolic Support
- BLS/ACLS Certification

- Letter of intent discussing the motivation for pursuing a pharmacy residency including goals for the next 2 – 5 years

Recommendation Guidance:
- Include a variety of recommendation writers (i.e. preceptors, faculty, work supervisors)
- Recommendation writers should provide meaningful, personal anecdotes and examples of why you stand out as a residency candidate
- Recommendation writers should provide examples of obstacles you overcame while under their tutelage (i.e. clinical scenario, complex patient case)
- Recommendation writers should be succinct and specific in their comments
