Dr. Patel had the distinguished opportunity to present at the 2011 Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) which took place February 15-19 in San Diego, California. The AAOS is an organization dedicated to educating medical professionals specializing in orthopedics. Dr. Patel addressed the audience with an in-depth lecture on posterior surgical approaches for cervical degenerative conditions. Those in attendance were national and international members of the orthopedic community including physicians, educators, and researchers. Dr. Patel has a great passion for education and is privileged to be a participant for organized events that empower providers to better care for patients.
