Plain white walls, barren rooms and a cold, unfriendly person at the front desk – it’s an all-too-familiar scenario at a typical medical office. Chances are, visiting such a place doesn’t make you feel very comfortable about your overall healthcare experience - and that’s not the way it should be.

The truth is that the environment surrounding a person who is recovering from a procedure or receiving care has been proven to have an impact on that person’s recovery period. At the Spine Health Institute, we understand and respect this reality, and we strive to create an environment in which patients can experience healing of the mind, body and spirit to the greatest extent possible while they are here.

Here are three ways in which our practice cultivates an environment that is conducive to good health and healing:

We Keep it Clean and Serene

We’ve designed our office and exam rooms to be spacious, clean and full of colorful artwork. Our office overlooks beautiful Lake Adelaide in Altamonte Springs, FL with floor-to-ceiling windows for optimal sunlight and a first-class view. The goal of this calm and pleasant setting is to improve our patients’ mood and promote relaxation before and after a visit.

We Only Use State-of-the-Art Equipment

Undergoing any type of procedure – whether it be an X-ray, injection or surgery – can be stressful for patients of any age. Knowing that your doctor’s office only carries the best-of-the-best medical equipment can help put your mind at ease. At the Spine Health Institute, we employ equipment and technology that has proven effective through evidence-based research and successful outcomes achieved by our world-class physicians. We also make sure that our staff has specialized training on all of the equipment so every procedure can go smoothly.

Passionate Team of Medical Professionals

Drs. Patel, Jager, Lammers and Ariani, our PA Emanuel, and all of our therapists, nurses and front desk team are passionate about one thing – YOU. Your health is our main priority, and our multidisciplinary team, including our Spiritual Ambassadors and Health Champions, work together to create an environment that heals the whole person – mind, body and spirit.

While we aim to provide a nurturing and healing environment in the office, it is equally as important to create a positive environment at home and at work. Make sure that you eat a well-balanced diet, exercise regularly and surround yourself with people who encourage your happiness and healing. You’ll be amazed at how much faster you can get back to normal when everything around you promotes your success!
