Thrush

Thrush is a fungal infection that can affect people of all ages – particularly those with weakened immune systems. It usually occurs in moist areas, especially the mouth and diaper region of infants. Typical symptoms include white patches on the tongue or other parts of the mouth, redness at the corners of the mouth, a vaginal yeast infection or skin lesions that may bleed when rubbed. Thrush can be treated with anti-fungal medications.
