Varicose Veins
Varicose veins are enlarged, wavy veins most commonly found in the legs and feet. Most patients with varicose veins won’t experience any symptoms related to the condition, while others may experience aching pain and discomfort. Varicose veins are mainly a cosmetic concern because they protrude from the legs and feet and are very visible. In more severe cases, varicose veins may be a sign of a circulatory problem that doctors will need to test for. Treatments will depend on the severity of the condition and may include lifestyle adjustments or surgical procedures to close or remove varicose veins.
