Recipe for Scandinavian Mustard-Roasted Salmon

Entrees Seasoned with Lemon and Herbs

Mustard on salmon makes for a very Scandinavian dish, with a fine flavor of rosemary and lemon peeking through the mellow layer of mustard. Salmon is a perfect source of omega-3 fatty acids, crucial for a healthy metabolism. Find the best coarse-ground mustard on the supermarket shelf—an adventurous soul might even try a spicy Creole variety from Louisiana—or a smoother Dijon for subtler flavor. Served with thinly sliced cucumber and a dollop of sour cream, this dish will find a home at your next smorgasbord. Skol!
