Ellaine Sapin-Ancheta has been a practicing physical therapist for over 24 years with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida. Ellaine specializes in women’s and men’s pelvic health and has been at the forefront of pelvic floor physical therapy for obstetric, gynecologic, urologic, urogynecologic, gastroenterology and oncology-related conditions (including pelvic floor dysfunctions, chronic pelvic pain, urinary and fecal incontinence, constipation, urinary retention, frequency, and urgency, prolapse and prolapse repair, vaginismus, coccydynia, dyspareunia, endometriosis, interstitial cystitis, prenatal and postpartum care as well as post-operative, post-radiation, post-chemotherapy care for incontinence or pain for gynecologic and prostate cancers).
Ellaine also has extensive experience with orthopedic sports-medicine injuries offering the most comprehensive approach for addressing musculoskeletal movement disorders and pain to the lumbar spine, sciatic and hip with relation to pelvic floor dysfunctions.
