For critical conditions, care is only minutes away from your arrival. We provide emergency medical treatments for many conditions, including:- Complicated fractures
- Deep wounds
- Extreme difficulty breathing

What To Expect When You Visit The ER
If a medical emergency happens, you're going to have a lot of questions. We’ll gladly talk over your concerns and answer your questions so that you may have peace of mind. We’ll also have some questions for you, because the more information we have, the better we can help you. After obtaining basic information like your name, date of birth, medical history, and the reason for your visit, we'll check your vital signs and decide on the safest, fastest way to bring you relief.
Just to be prepared, you may want to keep an information card with you at all times, perhaps in your wallet or purse. Include the name and number of your primary care physician, a list of your medications and drug allergies, and any advance directives you may have, such as health care proxy or power of attorney. Knowing all the facts will help us give better, safer care, faster.
In our Lake County emergency room, we prioritize which patients receive treatment first using a process called triage. This means a later-arriving patient suffering from a suspected stroke may receive care before a patient with less serious symptoms. But you can trust that our highly experienced ER staff will do all they can to reduce emergency room wait times and bring you relief as quickly as possible. - Urgent Care for Urgent Needs
