Change a Life by Becoming a Living Donor

Donating a kidney is a selfless gift, and patients in need of kidney transplants rely on the generosity of living donors. When generous donors sign up for living kidney donations, recipients spend less time waiting. Living donor kidneys usually function faster and more effectively and last twice as long, on average.

A Second Chance To Do It All Over Again

Andrew Wilson needed a new kidney. He was struggling to breathe every day, and there was no way he could get out on the mountain.

Until his hiking buddy and best friend of almost four decades gave Andrew the greatest gift: life. Gregg Marsh became Andrew's living kidney donor.

After his transplant, Andrew returned to his soul-giving place: nature. “I can breathe, I can run, I can hike through the mountains for hours. I get a second chance to do it all over again,” Andrew says.

Now Gregg and Andrew are back on the trail, a new chapter in their long friendship, connected for life.
