You Have a Dream, and We’ll Help You Get There
At AdventHealth Redmond, we welcome medical students who are eager to learn the highest caliber of skills to provide exceptional care that heals the whole person. In medical clerkship, students in their third and fourth year are presented with thought-provoking and inspiring material in the classroom, as well as hands-on experience with our medical residents under the guidance of highly experienced faculty members. Rotations are available in two- and four-week blocks.
We’re the region’s only educator for medical student rotations in internal medicine at the Rome clinical campus of Medical College of Georgia (MCG) and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). Students from other U.S.-accredited allopathic and osteopathic medical schools are also encouraged to apply.
Let Us Help You Prepare for Medical Clerkship
- Medical Student Rotations
-
As a medical student, you will undergo extensive training that empowers you to handle complex conditions and unique circumstances you can’t experience in a classroom, all under the tutelage of the area’s most exceptional providers.
Our rotations include:
- Inpatient internal medicine
- Medical intensive care
- Orientation
-
All medical students are expected to attend an orientation on their first day of rotation. Here, students will preview their syllabus for the semester, participate in electronic medical records (EMR) training and discuss hospital protocol and clinical teaching structure. Orientation begins at 8 am in the Medical Education Department.
