For the past six years, AdventhHealth for Children's Day of Giving has supported families with children in our hospital who face financial hardships and struggle to meet basic day-to-day needs so they can focus on what matters most, their child.

This year's Day of Giving began with an early 6:00am inside Studio 7 and brought together a remarkable group of talent, beginning with our iHeart radio hosts, Chad and Leslye from Magic 107.7 and Jenny and John from Rumba 100.3 who led a live radio broadcast full of stories of hope and healing.

In a heartwarming display of the human spirit, callers dialed in to support families of children in our hospital and shared why they wanted to give. Many callers spoke to the compassionate care they or their loved ones received at AdventHealth. Special guests were available to receive calls from the phone bank, including Meredith McDonough and Nancy Alvarez from WESH 2, No Lonely Hearts, Jack Bradshaw from Real Radio 104.1, Mel Taylor from WJRR, and more.

New to this year's Day of Giving was a live stream hosted by Brian Dickerman with special guests Dr. Raj Wadhawan - CEO for AdventHealth for Children, Dr. Michael Keating, CMO for AdventHealth for Children, Mrs. Claus, former patients, and incredible performances from Orlando Opera, The Voice finalist - Omar Cardona, local singer-song-writer - Cesar De La Roza, and former Miss America - Ericka Dunlap.

At the Children's hospital, AdventHealth team members, physicians, caregivers and donors gathered around the main lobby to bring toys and gifts, watch the live stream and grab a cup of coffee as a thank you for their donation to the day of giving.

We are beyond excited to share that Day of Giving raised over $35K+ this year because of every one of you who joined us on this special day. Thank you for your continued generosity and for bringing peace to families with children in the hospital in Central Florida.

Though we're coming to the end of the year, the holiday season is not over yet and the needs of families continue to develop. Finish the year strong with us and support local families at Give4KidsToday.com.
