A Promise to Our Mothers

AdventHealth Sharing Smiles volunteers and supporters are committed to providing care close to home, all year long. Children deserve access to the best care available and a chance for greater well-being. Your gift fulfills this promise.

Give now to honor a mother's prayer of healing and hope for their child.

Our Mission and Vision - With your help, we will bring hope and healing to children through quality healthcare, education and training by partnering with host country healthcare providers to build a sustainable legacy that provides care for children.

Our Medical Program – With your help, we will provide this service to children in three separate, but related, areas: cleft lip and palate care, pediatric dentistry and pediatric physical therapy. We will be a catalyst to create change and partner with local medical professionals and civic organizations to give children the care they deserve.

Donors Share Why They Give

“Sharing Smiles is so much more than just pretty faces. It is about hope. Hope that comes from knowing that regardless of the circumstances children face, there is no reason to despair because people do indeed care about them. Having cleft lip and palate surgery doesn’t fix faces – it changes lives. This is why we give to Sharing Smiles.”

-Drs. Jeffrey and Lisa King, JLR Medical Group

What Sets Sharing Smiles Apart?

It’s our commitment to long-term care in the areas we serve through continuing education and partnerships with the host country’s ministries of health, social service agencies, clinicians, hospitals, orphanages and Rotarians who are business and community leaders in each country.

Do You Know?

Since 1996, Sharing Smiles has transformed the lives of more than 25,000 children in Latin America, the Caribbean and Peru.

The budget for each trip is $20,000. Every penny is spent on transporting the team of a dozen medical and clinical volunteers to the country, providing training to local medical professionals, modest lodging and sending needed medical equipment and supplies.

Sharing Smiles donates any remaining supplies to the local hospital. Supplies are used to continue treating children throughout the year.

Your gift impacts a child’s life forever.
