AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida is proud to announce Rajia Ackley as our Volunteer of the Month for August, recognizing her exceptional dedication and unwavering support for our Children’s Hospital.
Rajia, a longstanding member of the Children’s Board, has been a passionate advocate for our littlest patients. Her commitment extends beyond her board role, as she and her family, including her daughter Kristen, a dedicated supporter, and her son-in-law, a physician, have made a remarkable impact.
For the past two Thanksgiving holidays, Rajia and her team from Ackley Platinum Group and Ackley Florida Property Management organize a festive breakfast at the hospital, complete with a chef, clowns, face painters, and other activities, bringing joy and comfort to children and their families during the holiday season.
Rajia’s contributions go far beyond this annual event. Her ongoing efforts to connect with potential donors and board members play a crucial role in furthering our healing mission and enhancing the quality of care at AdventHealth for Children. We are deeply grateful for her tireless work and the positivity she brings to our community.
