Celebrating Generosity: An Evening Propelled With Purpose

On February 12, 2025, the AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida hosted "Celebrating Generosity," a heartfelt event honoring the incredible contributions of board members, donors, and physicians. The evening was filled with warmth and gratitude as we celebrated:

  • Community Catalyst Award: The Vosburg family, whose generous support of the AdventHealth Cancer Institute has touched countless lives.
  • Physician Champion Award: Dr. Joey Lopez, for his unwavering dedication to the AdventHealth for Children Head and Neck Cancer program.
  • Impact Icon Award: Shawn Bush, for his invaluable support of the AdventHealth Heart, Lung and Vascular Institute.
  • Heart of Gold Award: Brea Weiss, for her steadfast and compassionate support of AdventHealth.

We also honored David Collis as he retired from his role as President of the foundation, celebrating his impactful leadership. The evening concluded with inspiring words from Brian Adams, President and CEO of AdventHealth Central Florida Division, who expressed deep appreciation for the community's unwavering support.
