Planned Giving
When it comes to saving lives, no gift is too small, and every donation goes a long way. To help support our mission of lifting spirits and saving lives, consider giving a planned gift. Our team can walk you through the process of planned giving and answer any questions you may have.
Memorial Gift
When you make a gift in memory of your loved one, the name is recorded in AdventHealth Fish Memorial Chapel’s Book of Remembrance. Your thoughtful gift is a significant way to show appreciation for the part an individual has played in your life and to preserve someone’s memory for generations to come.
What better promise can be given to those we hold dear than the vow that they will never be forgotten? Your gift supports AdventHealth Fish Memorial’s mission, “Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ.”
When a memorial gift is received by the Foundation:
- A letter is sent to the donor to acknowledge the gift.
- An acknowledgement letter is sent to an individual and/or family of the deceased informing them of your kindness.
The amount of the gift is kept confidential.
Memorial gifts are a special way to honor the memory of a family member, friend or admired acquaintance.
When mailing a donation please include the following:
- The name of the person being memorialized.
- The name of the donor(s).
- Donor(s) mailing address.
- Name and address for the acknowledgment letter.

A few hours of your time can make a real difference in someone’s life. When you volunteer at AdventHealth Fish Memorial, you'll have the opportunity to minister to our patients with a warming smile, lifting their spirits at a time when worry and anxiety are more prominent in their lives.
We offer three shifts — mornings (8 am to 12 pm), afternoons (noon to 4 pm), and evenings (4 pm to 8 pm) — and a broad selection of hospital volunteer opportunities, which allow you to apply your talents, skills, and interests in the area that suits them best. Volunteer Services members are currently serving in the following areas:
- Emergency department
- Endoscopy
- Gift shop
- Human resources
- Intensive care unit (ICU)
- Information and reception desks
- Laboratory
- Marketing and public relations
- Oncology
- Outpatient clinic
- Pastoral care
- Radiology
- Rehab services/wellness
- Shuttle services
- Surgical services
- Wound care
To become a volunteer at our hospital, you must:
- Be at least 16 years old
- Complete an application form and submit to a background check
- Come in for an interview
- Receive comprehensive training
- Earn a minimum of 60 volunteer hours each year including training, orientation, and membership meetings
- Purchase a Volunteer Service uniform
