The Help You Need, When You Need It

With so many choices — the emergency room, urgent care or your primary care doctor — you may be uncertain about where to go after an unexpected injury or illness.

If you or a family member experience a condition that is life threatening, or could cause significant harm without quick medical attention, go to your closest emergency room. AdventHealth College Boulevard ER treats our community’s emergency conditions, which can show symptoms such as:

  • Chest pain
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Head or neck injuries
  • Persistent diarrhea
  • Numbness or dropping of the face or body
  • Severe abdominal pain
  • Severe vomiting or vomiting blood
  • Sudden confusion
  • Uncontrolled bleeding
  • Unusual behavior

For non-life-threatening or less severe conditions, visit one of our Centra Care locations across Kansas. Seven days a week, we have you covered for sports physicals, lab needs, and treatment of sports physicals, lab needs, allergies, coughs, colds, minor bruises, sprains and strains.

The brand-new College Boulevard ER is a part of the AdventHealth network of care. That means if you or a loved one need care beyond the emergency room, you gain access to the care you need, such as:

  • Access to high-level care provided at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission
  • Providers who treat the whole you — in body, mind and spirit
  • The latest possible diagnostic and treatment services
  • Transfer to AdventHealth Shawnee Mission if needed
  • Outpatient Imaging including Diagnostic X-ray, CT and Ultrasound

Non-Emergent
Priority Care

Located on the second floor in Suite 200, our Priority Care walk-in clinic treats unexpected medical needs for patients and is staffed by two board-certified medical providers, with access to onsite lab and X-ray services.

Priority Care is a part of the AdventHealth Medical Group Primary Care at College Boulevard practice, utilizing our full office staff, services and expertise. We accept the same insurance plans and have the same fee schedule and copays for Priority Care as we do for scheduled appointments, with no added urgent care fees.

Priority Care Walk-in Clinic Hours
Monday through Friday: 9 am – 7 pm
Saturday and Sunday: 10 am – 2 pm
Closed on some holidays.

Priority Care treats:

  • Acute sinus, throat, ear, respiratory illness
  • Minor orthopedic conditions/injuries
  • Skin problems
  • Allergies and asthma
  • Gastrointestinal symptoms
  • Simple lacerations
  • Urinary problems
  • Tests for strep, flu, mono, pregnancy
  • Urinalysis
  • X-rays

Priority Care is for quick access to our office when your illness or injury can’t wait; it is not for emergencies. Patients with life-threatening emergencies should call 911 or go to the closest ER.
