Whole-person healing for you and everyone in our shared community: that’s our purpose. The AdventHealth Daytona Beach Foundation, formerly Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center Foundation, supports our hospital’s efforts to provide better health for the community — and for all the people in our care. We achieve this through innovative technology, strong community education, and regular enhancements to our facilities.
Your gift supports our hospital as we continue to educate, comfort, and serve. With many opportunities for charitable giving, we appreciate any contributions of resources or time, however big or however small. Every donation has the power to change someone’s world.

Volunteering with Pastoral Care
Our pastoral-care team provides much-needed hope and spiritual healing to the many people in our care, their families, and friends. If you have theological training and credentialing, consider volunteering to visit with patients to offer support, comfort, and loving care within the context of the patient’s own religious beliefs. Pastoral-care volunteers must show poise, tact, discretion, and sensitivity in meeting and talking with patients and guests. A minimum of four hours a week is required. To get started, Download an application and either bring it into our Pastoral Care Department or send it to:
AdventHealth Daytona Beach
Attn: Pastoral Care Department
301 Memorial Medical Pkwy.
Daytona Beach, FL 32117If you would like to volunteer in our Pastoral Care clerical office, you don’t need theological credentials, just a desire to serve.
To help patients of your own faith, volunteer as a community church representative. You’ll receive a hospital ID badge and confidentiality training. To get started, you’ll need to complete an orientation program at the hospital and, if necessary, training at your own place of worship.
Volunteer as a Spiritual Ambassador (for employees only)
Spiritual ambassadors are hospital employees who are sensitive to the spiritual needs of the department staff and work in conjunction with pastoral care. They provide comfort and support to their fellow team members through scripture and prayer, and they help us achieve our mission of whole-person health for everyone in our care and in our local community. To sign up, contact the campus chaplain to become a spiritual ambassador or visit the Pastoral Care Department at AdventHealth Daytona Beach.
