AdventHealth Daytona Beach has named Robert Jepson as the new chief operating officer (COO).
Jepson, currently the COO at White Oak Medical Center in Silver Spring, Maryland, will assume his new role on March 10.

With more than three decades of experience in health care leadership, Jepson has been part of Adventist HealthCare since 1992.
"We are thrilled to welcome Robert to our team,” said David Weis, president and CEO of AdventHealth’s operations in East Volusia, Flager, and St. Johns counties. “He brings deep experience in hospital operations and a strong commitment to ensuring patients receive the best care possible. His leadership will be key as we continue to grow and serve our community."
Jepson's joins AdventHealth Daytona Beach at a time of a major expansion. The hospital is in the midst of a $220 million expansion project that will add 104 inpatient beds, four surgical suites, and over 240,000 square feet of space to accommodate the area’s growing health care needs.
