DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., April 19, 2018 Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center selected OB-GYN Dr. Meetesh Desai as the physician of the quarter.
I am an experienced nurse with 25 years of experience and it has been my great honor and privilege to work alongside Dr. Desai. He is knowledgeable, kind, and a true expert in his field, said one colleague in a nomination. He treats his staff with respect and humor, but most importantly, his patients get top-notch care from him. I have seen him in multiple, emergent life or death situations, make swift medical decisions that have indeed saved lives. I feel as if divine intervention is present.
Dr. Desai is an excellent physician! His calm bedside manner makes both the patient (and family), as well as the staff, feel confident in the care received, another colleague wrote in a nomination. His patients love him, as he takes the time to explain his plan of care, as well as answer all of their questions. The nurses love him because he has a fantastic sense of humor, as well as a wealth of knowledge.
