Emergency room care, urgent care, minimally invasive procedures, traditional surgeries — these are all services we provide to the Volusia County area, administered by our expert cardiologists, nurses, clinicians, and teams.
Our respiratory therapists are certified or have additional credentials in the following:
- ACLS (Adult Cardiac Life Support)
- Balloon Pump Certifications
- Basic Life Support
- Conscious Sedation
- IV (intravenous Catheter Insertion)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
In the case of an emergency event, we’ll work quickly and efficiently to save your life, while using our experience and expertise to repair as much heart tissue as is possible. Often, thanks to percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedures, we do this without surgery. PCI procedures include balloon catheter angioplasty or stenting. We can often do this with transradial access, meaning we can insert the catheter and reach your artery through your wrist which can make your recovery faster and prevent complications.

When it comes to your heart health, it's important to act fast. Heart attacks can come on suddenly, and we want to help you recognize and understand the symptoms so you can reach for treatment quickly. Some of the symptoms of a heart attack or traumatic heart event include:
- Chest Discomfort, Pressure, or Pain
- Discomfort in the Upper Body
- Lightheadedness
- Nausea
- Shortness of Breath
- Sweat
Chest discomfort is the most common heart attack symptom, but often women will have shortness of breath, nausea, and back pain. As with all conditions, different people experience different heart attack symptoms. In any moment of doubt, call 911 immediately.

Our comprehensive, 12-week cardiac rehabilitation program helps you make lifestyle changes, educates you and your family on heart-healthy habits, and provides you with medically supervised exercise sessions three days a week. We also offer pulmonary rehabilitation over the course of a 12-week outpatient program that consists of monitored exercise, education, and counseling. When it comes to your heart health, you'll never be without support.
