AdventHealth has named Jonathan Armstrong as chief financial officer (CFO) at AdventHealth DeLand, effective May 5.

In this role, he led the financial management, budgeting and capital planning for AdventHealth’s largest hospital in Central Florida, encompassing more than 1,300 beds, 60 operating rooms, and a 69-bed emergency department.

“I am delighted to welcome Jonathan to DeLand,” said Eric Lunde, AdventHealth President and CEO for AdventHealth DeLand. “His exceptional leadership within AdventHealth gives me confidence that he will further enhance our focus on maintaining national rankings in patient safety and quality, alongside our longstanding commitment to providing whole-person care to the DeLand community.”

“It is an exciting time in DeLand, and I am looking forward to supporting the community,” said Armstrong. “I count it as an honor to work with our incredible team of caregivers in furthering the decades-long legacy of extending the healing ministry of Christ to the West Volusia community.”
