WEST VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla., April 25, 2019 – AdventHealth DeLand and AdventHealth Fish Memorial have each named a new Foundation director.
Robin Roper will serve as director of the AdventHealth DeLand Foundation and Jill Bosley will serve as director of the AdventHealth Fish Memorial Foundation.
In this role, Roper and Bosley will oversee the operations and management of the fundraising arms of AdventHealth DeLand and AdventHealth Fish Memorial, respectively. As directors, they will actively engage with the community, cultivating relationships and engaging philanthropic activities that benefit each hospital’s current fundraising needs, as well as future growth opportunities.
Roper has nearly 25 years of experience in the marketing and public relations industry and most recently served as the senior marketing strategist in the marketing department at AdventHealth DeLand. She also previously worked at John Knox Village and was responsible for brand strategy and community engagement and worked with their resident foundation.
“Robin has been involved in the West Volusia community since she moved here over 20 years ago. Her passion for the DeLand community and our hospital’s mission will generate a much-needed energy and a new direction for our Foundation,” said Lorenzo Brown, AdventHealth DeLand CEO. “More importantly, her community relations experience and strategic marketing knowledge will help to strengthen the organization’s impact in DeLand and beyond.”
A DeBary resident, Roper earned an undergraduate degree in journalism and communications from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
Bosley has 18 years of experience and most recently served as the executive director for the Wesley Children’s Foundation. In this role, she financially assisted families with a sick or injured child and was responsible for overseeing all fundraising events, corporate sponsorships and donor relationships. She also previously served as the development director for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at Via Christi Health and the Wichita division director for the March of Dimes.
“Jill has a vast amount of Foundation experience and we are thrilled to have her join our AdventHealth family,” said Rob Deininger, AdventHealth Fish Memorial CEO. “In her past work, she’s helped countless families access healthcare and resources, and raised millions to improve the care and services available in the Midwest. We look forward to her joining us in our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ beyond our hospital walls and into the communities we serve.”
Bosley earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Friends University, a private non-denominational Christian university in Wichita, Kansas.
