Non-Denominational Chapel and Pastoral Care
We know it can be hard to keep your spirits up when you’re experiencing health challenges. As a faith-based health-care provider, we recognize that a peaceful, soothing chapel can calm your nerves and lift your spirit. Please feel free to visit our onsite chapel at any time of the day, whatever your faith. Located just off the main lobby next to the gift shop, the chapel is open 24/7. All patients are also invited to our interfaith services held in the chapel at 10:00 am on weekdays.
When you need a little more of a boost, our Pastoral Care Department is on hand to talk with you, provide spiritual counsel, or just listen. With a full-time chaplain and more than 62 clergy and laity on call around the clock, there will always be someone available to help you find peace and spiritual healing. We can also connect you with a leader from your own religious community. You can contact our chaplain’s office at any time by calling Call386-917-5042.
You may also notice that some staff members have “praying hands” pins on their ID badges or uniforms. That means these staff members are always willing to pray with you or for you. Just ask.

- What to Bring With You
-
Knowing what to bring (and what not to bring) with you to the hospital helps make the process begin more smoothly. We know that being prepared helps ease your mind, so we compiled a helpful list:
- Bring a list of prescriptions, but allow us to dispense all of your medications during your stay with us.
- Bring a photo ID and insurance card.
- Bring any referrals or tests from your physician to streamline your care.
- Don’t bring any valuables. Leave them with loved ones for safekeeping.
- Don’t worry about toiletries. If you stay overnight, we will provide you with necessities, as well as sleepwear and slippers.
- Hospital Visiting Hours
-
Your visits are so important to our patients. Our visiting hours are from 10 AM to 8 PM.
We’re employing the following safety measures and protocols to ensure you and your loved ones feel confident and safe in our facilities: temperature testing, employee testing, universal mask use, and social distancing.
- Visitor Limitation
- Two adult visitors, per patient, per day, excluding the COVID unit.
- Exceptions will be made for extenuating circumstances, such as imminent end-of-life or unique patient support needs.
- In all circumstances, visitors who are sick will not be permitted to enter the hospital, unless they are seeking personal medical care.

That’s why members of the Department of Pastoral Care are available to you and your loved ones during your time in the hospital, providing you with spiritual care and support.

Focus Your Energy on Healing
Let us help take care of all the little details that go along with a hospital visit. Find out how we can simplify things like paying bills, refilling a prescription, and more.
A hospital stay can bring many visits and services from multiple medical providers. We know it’s hard to plan ahead for an emergency hospital visit, but if you have a scheduled health care service that requires a hospital stay, we recommend contacting your anticipated health care practitioners within the hospital to confirm they participate with your insurance provider. Services may be provided in the hospital by AdventHealth as well as by other health care practitioners who may bill you separately. By contacting your anticipated health care practitioners ahead of time, you can get information about billing practices and an estimate for your upcoming services to help avoid any unexpected challenges and fees.
