She appreciates the opportunity that family medicine provides her to work with patients ages 13 and older — not just to manage chronic issues but also to educate them on illness prevention. Her goal is to develop patient-physician relationships based on trust and good communication. When she’s not working to provide patient-centered care, Dr. Johnson pursues a variety of interests, including cycling, camping, water recreation and spending time with friends.

She enjoys the variety that comes with treating a wide spectrum of ages and conditions, and she prioritizes developing interpersonal relationships in the process. When she’s not working hard to meet the health care needs of her patients through treatment and education, Lister likes to spend time traveling, hiking and mountain biking.

Lister earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kennesaw State University in Georgia and later earned a Master of Science in Nursing from the family nurse practitioner program at that same institution. She is certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
