Our volunteer are also eligible for a free annual flu shot in the hospital.

Our volunteers play an important role in our hospital. That’s why we ask new volunteers to attend an orientation. This required training covers our mission, recognition, service openings, benefits, rules and regulations.
Training sessions on completed with an experienced volunteer or staff member in your assigned service area. It will be completed on your first day of service. Volunteer Requirements

We welcome individuals who share our mission and passion for helping others. However, we do ask that all volunteers are 18 years or older and complete the following requirements:
- A Tuberculin Skin Test (provided free of charge in our WorkMed Office)
- Background Check
- In-person Interview
We do not accept applications from individuals in need of court-ordered community service hours or school credits.
During your volunteer shift, you will also be asked to wear a photo ID and uniform at all times.
