AdventHealth Foundation West Florida Welcomes Leigh Ann Wynn as New Executive Director for Polk County

DAVENPORT, Fla. -- The AdventHealth Foundation West Florida is delighted to announce the appointment of Leigh Ann Wynn as the new Executive Director for the Polk County region. As a seventh-generation Floridian hailing from Lake Wales, Wynn brings a deep connection to the community and a wealth of experience to her new role.

Wynn, born and raised on her family's cattle ranch, embodies the spirit of Central Florida's agricultural roots. Graduating with a bachelor's in public relations and a minor in Agricultural Communications from the University of Florida in 2002, she has seamlessly blended her passion for relationship building and communications with her commitment to community service.

"I am thrilled to serve Polk County, where I grew up surrounded by the warmth and resilience of this community," Wynn said. "My roots in agriculture and my dedication to making a positive impact align perfectly with the mission of AdventHealth Polk Foundation. I am eager to contribute to the well-being of the community that has shaped me."

Her professional journey includes 13 years in the private sector, followed by a significant role at Warner University, where she served as the Assistant Vice President for Advancement since 2015. During her tenure, Wynn successfully raised over $40 million for scholarships, capital projects, and the Royal Fund for Excellence.

Joining AdventHealth Polk Foundation as the Executive Director, she looks forward to expanding the organization's impact across the community in support of AdventHealth’s Lake Wales and Heart of Florida hospitals.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Leigh Ann, along with her husband JB and son Jake, operates Wynn Cattle, further exemplifying her commitment to family, her agricultural roots and the Central Florida outdoors she’s grown up around.
