Men’s Medical Care A Lifelong Partnership in Wellness
- Providing Heart-Felt Heart Care for Men
-
Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the U.S. and men are at highest risk. Our skilled cardiologists use advanced technology, such as fast CT scanners and other diagnostic tools, to catch cardiac problems early — giving you the chance to take action before they become more serious.
At AdventHealth Heart of Florida, we believe your best defense is often a good offense. That’s why we proactively work with our male patients to help you understand your risk factors and suggest ways to lower it, including lifestyle changes to prevent or slow the progression of heart disease.
Should you need medical treatment, we offer a number of therapies to fight heart disease, including medication therapy, minimally invasive cardiac catheterization techniques and traditional surgical options.
- Protecting Your Prostate Health
-
Prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in men, and early detection is key to the best possible treatment outcomes. That’s why AdventHealth Heart of Florida prostate specialists use prostate cancer screening and advanced diagnostic technology to find prostate cancer in the earliest stages.
Talk to your doctor about your family history and risk factors for prostate cancer. Together, we can decide what screenings are right for you.
While cancer is something we all hope to avoid, if it does happen to you or someone you love, we’re here to help. Since each patient is unique, our doctors tailor treatment to meet individual needs. One or more treatments may be needed to treat your cancer, and our experienced team of doctors and support personnel will guide you throughout the entire process. Our prostate cancer treatments include:
- Cryosurgery
- Hormone therapy
- Robotic surgery
