Did you know that early detection of lung cancer can make treatment more effective?
A simple, low-dose CT scan is the recommended yearly screening for early detection. Lung cancer screenings are available at AdventHealth Heart of Florida.
If you are between the ages of 50 and 80 and have a history of smoking, or have quit smoking within the last 15 years, you may be eligible for lung cancer screening. Contact your primary care provider or our Lung Screening Nurse Navigator to find out more about this lifesaving screening.
