AdventHealth Hendersonville Announces New Role for Medical Group Physician

May 28, 2019 — Hendersonville, NC (May 28, 2019) — AdventHealth Hendersonville is excited to share that our physician Steven Hauser, MD, MPH is joining AdventHealth Medical Group Hospitalists at Hendersonville to care for patients during their time in our hospital. Dr. Hauser has been caring for patients in our outpatient clinical locations since 2014. As a hospitalist, Dr. Hauser will focus his whole-person care on the unique medical needs of patient during a hospital stay.

Dr. Hauser earned his Bachelor of Science in chemistry with a focus in biochemistry and his Master of Public Health with a focus in epidemiology from the University of Florida. He then obtained his medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in 2011. Hauser is certified by the North Carolina Board of Medicine and is board-certified in internal medicine.

The commitment to whole-person care is what drew Dr. Hauser and his wife, Virginia Hauser, ARNP, FNP-BC, MPH to AdventHealth Hendersonville.

“The emphasis on a family approach and enthusiasm to care for the patient wholly, made my wife and I both want to be part of AdventHealth” says Hauser. “I have now been a part of the AdventHealth community since 2014. I have a respect for my colleagues within the system and enjoy working with them. This is great!” Dr. Hauser’s wife, Virginia, is a provider at AdventHealth Medical Group Family Medicine at Parkway.
