AdventHealth Hendersonville Awarded HFAP Accreditation

Hendersonville, NC (June 25, 2019) — AdventHealth Hendersonville is honored to receive accreditation from the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP). HFAP is the nation’s original independent, accreditation program recognized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). AdventHealth Hendersonville earned this distinction after completing an extensive, objective review of the its hospital’s quality and safety standards.

HFAP survey teams focus on the hospital’s success at meeting core functions of assessment, patient participation, treatment, nutrition, medication use, discharge coordination, environmental safety, patient safety, infection control, quality improvement and information management.

“AdventHealth Hendersonville clearly demonstrates a commitment to quality and patient safety,” said Meg Gravesmill, CEO of AAHHS, HFAP’s non-profit parent company. “We base our decision on the findings of an extensive and thorough onsite review of the hospital against recognized national standards for patient safety, quality improvement and environmental safety. AdventHealth Hendersonville has earned the distinction of HFAP accreditation through its performance in successfully meeting those standards.”
