N.C., December 22, 2021 — AdventHealth Hendersonville Celebrates Newest Winner of The Sunflower Award for Patient Care

Dec. 22, 2021; HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. – AdventHealth Hendersonville is excited to introduce you to the newest member of its nursing support team to win the Sunflower Award. Tiffany Bradley, CNA, works on the Medical/Surgical Unit at AdventHealth Hendersonville.

Bradley is committed to providing compassionate care for all her patients. This above and beyond care was documented in her nomination. The nomination shared that Bradley stayed after her shift to sit and hold the hand of a patient who was in the final stages of life. The next day, in between caring for other patients, Bradley would continue to check on the patient and hold his hand, so he wasn’t alone during that difficult time.

“After his family arrived, Tiffany went above and beyond to empathize and comfort his family while also keeping him as comfortable as possible.” Tammi Jones, RN, adds, “She is an excellent addition to the Med/Surg team and really deserves to be recognized for her hard work and compassionate care.”

AdventHealth Hendersonville established the quarterly Sunflower Award to recognize certified nursing assistants who commit to striving for excellence in their profession; consistently deliver patient-centered, whole-person care with integrity; embrace the opportunity to learn and grow; and integrate change to improve the health and well-being of patients, family members and guest while Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ.
