Jul. 8, 2021; HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. Heart Disease is the leading cause of death for men and women in the US, impacting people across most racial and ethnic groups. Every 36 seconds 1 person in the US dies of cardiovascular disease which often manifests as either a heart attack or a stroke. Thankfully, all of us can take steps to prevent the dangers of heart disease and be prepared to better handle heart attack and stroke.

AdventHealth Hendersonville is hosting FREE in-person events where members of our Emergency Department team will discuss various types of heart disease, how to assess your personal risk, how to recognize the warning signs of heart attack and stroke and how to respond in the event that you suspect you or a loved one is having a heart attack or stroke when every second counts.
