N.C., — AdventHealth Hosts Pink on Parade Virtual 5k for Breast Cancer Awareness

September 15, 2020; HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. – AdventHealth announces its first virtual Pink on Parade 5K during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The AdventHealth Hendersonville Foundation invites you to join us Together in Spirit to support local individuals in our community battling breast cancer. The virtual event on October 11, 2020 will raise awareness of breast cancer and the importance of early detection for this second-most common form of cancer in American women.

This year brings a chance for you to connect with family and friends across the United States for this nationwide, virtual celebration of our brave loved ones who are battling breast cancer, survivors who have won their fight and those who shine on through their loved ones.

“We love the creativity that is helping us take this event virtual so our incredible community can continue to support those who are battling breast cancer,” said AdventHealth Hendersonville Foundation Director, Sherri Holbert. “Signing up for the virtual Pink on Parade 5K means you are also helping raise money to fund early detection screenings, research, survivorship education programs and so much more.”

Taking the event virtual allows participants to pick their time and place. You will get a digital race packet and be able to use a digital training guide to make sure you are all set for Pink on Parade. Premium registrations include a race medal, hat and personalized bib mailed directly to you.
