HENDERSONVILLE, NC, January 27, 2020 – The AdventHealth Hendersonville Foundation welcomed nine new members to its board of directors in January 2020. The Foundation supports AdventHealth’s mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ through community support, partnerships and fundraising opportunities.

We are excited to introduce you to the newest community members to join us in these efforts to support the lifesaving services at AdventHealth Hendersonville:

“We are able to establish access to convenient and innovative care for people across Western North Carolina thanks to the dedication of the incredible members of our Foundation Board,” said Sherri Holbert, Foundation Director at AdventHealth Hendersonville. “With the addition of these new community leaders, our board moves to a total of 21 people who are helping us connect with even more members of our community who want to support patient care and wellness services for our region.”

AdventHealth Hendersonville's Foundation builds community support, forms partnerships, and raises funds to discover new and groundbreaking ways to treat illness while supporting the organization’s aim to help everyone feel whole by caring for their body, mind and spirit.

The recent generosity of our communities has allowed the Foundation to raise funds for new vital-scan monitors in AdventHealth Hendersonville’s cancer services infusion centers, cancer diagnostic equipment, Spirit Smart Beds to improve the comfort and care of those in our Behavioral Health Unit, enhancements to patient rooms, nursing education, and free community health screenings.
