N.C., AdventHealth Medical Group Welcomes New Physician to Growing Laurel Park Office

Nov. 17, 2021; HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. AdventHealth is excited to welcome Wesley Jones, MD, FHM to its team of primary care providers at AdventHealth Medical Group Multispecialty at Laurel Park. Dr. Jones is board-certified in internal medicine and is a fellow in hospital medicine. He has experience in Pediatrics and Intensive Care Unit management.

Dr. Jones earned his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Davidson College in Davidson, NC. and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. He went on to complete his internal medicine and pediatrics residency program in Greenville, SC.

Dr. Jones most recently served as Director of Hospitalists and Chief of Staff at Transylvania Regional Hospital. He is excited to make the move from the hospital setting to the primary care setting where he can establish long-term health and wellness relationships with patients.

Dr. Jones is passionate about meeting patients where they are in their health journey and providing knowledge based on his years of experience in healthcare. “It is very simple – I want to help my patients live healthy lives,” Dr. Jones says, “I strive for simplicity in medical advice, and I’m a big proponent of healthy diet and regular movement.”

Dr. Jones and his wife have four children. Together they enjoy the simple things of life like spending time together, sports, good food and “a good, old-fashioned board game night with the entire family.”
