AdventHealth Names New Physician Services Director of Operations

N.C., November 05, 2019 — AdventHealth Names New Physician Services Director of Operations

Hendersonville, NC (November 5, 2019) — AdventHealth Hendersonville is excited to share the news that Kevin Morgan has been named as its newest Physician Services Director of Operations. Kevin has been part of the care team at AdventHealth, formerly Park Ridge Health, since 2014. He began his time as a Financial Services and Patient Access Representative Supervisor and moved on to the role of Practice Supervisor for Internal Medicine and then to Practice Manager at AdventHealth Medical Group at Laurel Park.

Morgan earned his bachelor’s degree in Religion from Gardner-Webb University in 1985 and completed his master’s degree in Divinity at Gardner-Webb in 1996.

He was drawn into health care while watching his wife’s life as a nurse which sparked a desire in him to help care for people.

“What an extraordinary blessing it is to be able to serve people who you know and love and have a deep connection with. I remember as a child dreaming of “going off” and doing great things and making the world a better place. While living in Albuquerque, it dawned on me that I needed to do great things at home. AdventHealth offers me the opportunity to serve greatly at home,” said Morgan.

As Director of Operations, Morgan oversees the team members at several AdventHealth Medical Group locations in Western North Carolina. His experience in various roles at these facilities allows him to help the team members, including physicians, fulfill the shared commitment to provide whole-person care to every person, every time.

When he is not leading the AdventHealth Medical Group care teams, Morgan enjoys spending time with his wife, Treva, and his sons and their families. He and Treva live on the same piece of property where they first met as teenagers. He enjoys gardening, hiking, cooking and walking among his eight Nigerian Dwarf Goats. When asked what he does to feel whole, Morgan said, “All I need to do to feel whole is count my blessings. I have so much to be thankful for.”
