AdventHealth Once Again Achieves Elite National Recognition from The Leapfrog Group for Straight “A’s” in Patient Safety

May 15, 2019 — Hendersonville, NC (May 15, 2019) – AdventHealth Hendersonville achieved an “A” grade in the Leapfrog Group’s Spring Safety Grade. Today’s announcement of this latest honor marks the sixth consecutive “A” grade for AdventHealth Hendersonville. The Leapfrog Group is a national nonprofit organization committed to improving health care quality and safety for consumers and purchasers. It assigns an A, B, C, D or F grade to hospitals across the country based on how safe they are for patients.

Developed under the guidance of a National Expert Panel, the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade uses 28 measures of publicly available hospital safety data to assign the grades to more than 2,600 U.S. hospitals twice per year. The Hospital Safety Grade’s methodology is peer reviewed and fully transparent, and the results are free to the public.
