Jan. 25, 2023; HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. – AdventHealth is excited to introduce you to Robert Cook, MD who is part of its team at AdventHealth Medical Group Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine at Medical Office Building*. Dr. Cook is board-certified in internal medicine and sleep medicine. He specializes in lung and sleep disorders.

Dr. Cook earned his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, OH and his Doctor of Medicine degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, OH. He went on to complete his internal medicine residency program from Barnes Hospital at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. From there he completed his Postdoctoral Clinical and Research Fellowship in Pulmonary Sciences and Critical Care Medicine from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, CO.

Dr. Cook joined the team at AdventHealth Medical Group Pulmonology Services and Sleep Medicine, where the physicians are dedicated to providing diagnostic and treatment options to help you breathe easier. The team of pulmonologists work together to treat a variety of lung diseases like asthma, emphysema, fungal infections and lung cancer. The experienced respiratory doctors, surgeons, nurses and therapists offer whole-person care, centered on providing individualized treatment plans. These treatment options range from minimally invasive procedures to innovative surgical approaches.
