AdventHealth Welcomes New Director of Surgery Services to Hospital in Hendersonville

Nov 1, 2023; HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. – AdventHealth is excited to welcome Lea Dibert, MSN, RN, CNOR as the Director of Surgery Services for AdventHealth Hendersonville. Dibert brings more than 16 years of surgical leadership experience to her new role at AdventHealth Hendersonville.

Dibert earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Goshen College in Goshen, IN and went on to earn her master’s degree in nursing from Ball State University in Muncie, IN. She continued to earn her Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) accreditation, demonstrating her commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient safety.

Dibert is passionate about quality care and patient safety. Through her extensive nurse leadership experience, she knows how to positively impact organizational outcomes by delivering high quality patient care and maintaining strong team member engagement.

“I treat everyone the way I would like to be treated,” Dibert shares. “I purposefully connect with people who may not always get recognition for the job they do, to ensure they know they are important and the job they do is important.”

Dibert is committed to organizational improvement and building team member success. She is excited to continue to grow AdventHealth Hendersonville’s service lines and collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems. She adds, “I want to come home every day knowing I made a positive impact on someone, whether that is a patient or a colleague.”

Dibert and her husband have four children, two boys and two girls. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, working out, and going to flea markets. She and her family enjoy taking care of their diverse group of pets, which includes three dogs, a bearded dragon and a spotted gecko.
