AdventHealth Welcomes New Pediatric Hospitalist

N.C., AdventHealth Welcomes New Pediatric Hospitalist

Feb. 8, 2021; HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. – AdventHealth Hendersonville warmly welcomes Andrew Grein, MD, FAAP to its team of providers. Dr. Grein is board-certified in pediatrics and will be joining the team of pediatric hospitalists in The Baby Place at AdventHealth.

Dr. Grein completed his bachelor’s degree at Hanover Collage in Hanover, Ind. and earned his medical degree at Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind. He has most recently cared for children in an outpatient pediatric clinic, as staff pediatrician at Rutherford Regional Medical Center, Rutherfordton, N.C. and as staff neonatologist and neonatal ICU medical director at Woman Army Medical Center at Fort Bragg, N.C.

Dr. Grein says he is excited to be caring for newborns again. “I’m very hands on. I like to hold babies and act more like an uncle instead of the physician. Patients and families respond well to that.” He takes the time to get to know the families and address all their concerns, not just medical.

The Baby Place at AdventHealth Hendersonville offers a comprehensive, whole-person approach to maternity care. Board-certified OB/GYN physicians, expert pediatric providers, and a specialty-trained nursing team help guide and support women through their labor and delivery experiences.
