Blood Drive at AdventHealth Hendersonville to Help Meet Urgent Need for Donations

Aug. 2, 2021; HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. – Taking one hour of your time could help save the lives of three people in our community. You can provide this resource for family, friends and neighbors when you sign up for the blood drive at AdventHealth Hendersonville on Wednesday, August 11, 2021.

The pandemic continues to impact the rate of blood donations across our region. The Blood Connection has an urgent need for donations.

To help make it easy for the public to donate, AdventHealth and TBC are following all safety protocols including requiring face coverings and social distancing. TBC will screen all donors for COVID-19 Antibodies after every completed donation.

100 Hospital Drive, Hendersonville

Look for The Blood Connection Mobile Donor Unit in the parking lot.

All donors will receive a $20 e-gift card!

The Blood Connection is a non-profit organization. A person can donate blood every 56 days. Donors must be 16 years or older and weigh more than 110 lbs. to donate. Sixteen-year-old donors are required to have written consent to donate blood. Before you donate blood, make sure that you drink plenty of water and eat a healthy meal. TBC Donor ID Card (preferred) or photo ID required to donate. Gift cards and other incentives are non-transferable.
