Gynecologic Services: We offer comprehensive gynecologic care to guide our patients through life’s stages. From routine wellness visits to complex gynecologic conditions or menopause management, treatments are individualized and are recommended based on your particular age, stage of life and condition. Many of our gynecologic procedures are minimally invasive, meaning less pain, less scarring and shorter recovery time for patients. Minimally invasive surgery is not an option for everyone, so we may recommend traditional techniques to treat certain patients.

Pelvic Health: Our urogynecology team specializes in the diagnosis and treatment pelvic floor disorders such as incontinence or bladder leakage, overactive bladder, fecal incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse.

What are pelvic floor disorders and who is at risk?

A pelvic floor disorder is caused due to weakened pelvic muscles or tears in the connective tissue. As this structure weakens, it can affect normal functioning of the bladder, uterus, vagina, bowel and rectum. The pelvic floor can be damaged due to childbirth, obesity, chronic coughing, heavy lifting, disease or genetic predisposition.

When should see a urogynecologist? If you are experiencing problems with incontinence, overactive bladder, emptying disorders, prolapse, pelvic and/or bladder pain or discomfort, or pain during intercourse, then it is time to seek a diagnosis and treatment.
