We know that sometimes finding the care you need has to be timely. To best serve our community, all our primary care locations are accepting walk-in patients. You do not have to be an AdventHealth patient to utilize these walk-in services. These walk-in care services are primarily for sick and acute care visits and are available during normal clinic hours.

Primary Care: Having a relationship with a trusted primary care provider is a powerful resource to help manage your health goals. A primary care provider is a partner in the lifelong journey of your wellness.
We know that having convenient access to your primary care provider is important. With more than 50 providers with locations in Buncombe, Henderson, Transylvania and Polk counties, you can find a trusted Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatric Medicine or OB/GYN physician close to home.

Behavioral Health: Following a stressful event like a natural disaster, you may experience anxiety and increased stress. The effects of this stress can cause symptoms both physically and mentally. It is important to take care of your mental health, getting the support you need to feel healthy and whole, especially following a traumatic experience. AdventHealth has comprehensive Behavioral Health services to help you get the care you need through out-patient therapy and in-patient programs.
The Behavioral Health Hub at AdventHealth is a resource for patients to receive behavioral health support. Our team will assess the behavioral health needs of adults 18 and older, who are not experiencing thoughts of harm to themselves or others. Patients who need non-urgent behavioral health care should call Call 828-650-8130 to schedule an appointment with our team.

Urgent Care: Get the expert urgent care you need with AdventHealth Centra Care.
Our urgent care providers are available seven days a week with extended hours, so you can get the care you need on your schedule. AdventHealth Centra Care can treat a wide variety of urgent conditions, including infections, fractures, sprains, stomach pain, fevers, and lacerations.

The Baby Place at AdventHealth has been and remains open and ready to support expectant mothers in Western North Carolina.
In the wake of Hurricane Helene, we stand strong with our community. AdventHealth understands that the lingering impacts of the storm have affected the ability of some hospitals to provide labor and delivery care.

If you are 35 weeks or further in your pregnancy and not considered high-risk, we are here to help you welcome your baby safely.
We are here for you, no matter who your OB doctors are or where you had planned to deliver your baby.
If possible, please bring your prenatal care records with you or ask your OB provider to fax them to The Baby Place at Call828-681-2749.
