- Chapel and Pastoral Care
-
As part of our faith-based mission to provide healing for the whole person — mind, body and spirit — we provide pastoral care for anyone seeking spiritual guidance. The new chapel at AdventHealth Kissimmee, formerly Florida Hospital Kissimmee, is surrounded by a serene healing garden. Glass walls invite the garden inside the east-facing space, creating a unique worship experience. The office of pastoral care is located next to the new chapel and a chaplain is present 24 hours a day.
To contact a chaplain, simply call the hospital operator and ask for the chaplain’s office. If calling from an outside phone, dial at Call407-846-4343.
A hospital stay can be an unexpected, anxious and a lonely time, not only for loved ones, but family and friends as well. AdventHealth Kissimmee knows that your spiritual care is also an important part of the healing process. That’s why members of the Department of Pastoral Care are available to you and your loved ones during your time in the hospital, providing you with spiritual care and support.
Contact a Chaplain
Patients, their family members or friends can request a visit from a chaplain, and we are also available to assist clergy or other pastors coming to visit their congregants.

Easy Access to the Tools You Need Healing Made Simple
When you're stressed about details like hospital costs and insurance coverage, it can be hard to get the rest you need for healing. Learn how we can make these and other necessary tasks easier through our online tools, including online bill pay and online scheduling.
A hospital stay can bring many visits and services from multiple medical providers. We know it’s hard to plan ahead for an emergency hospital visit, but if you have a scheduled health care service that requires a hospital stay, we recommend contacting your anticipated health care practitioners within the hospital to confirm they participate with your insurance provider. Services may be provided in the hospital by AdventHealth as well as by other health care practitioners who may bill you separately. By contacting your anticipated health care practitioners ahead of time, you can get information about billing practices and an estimate for your upcoming services to help avoid any unexpected challenges and fees.
