AdventHealth North Pinellas unveils newly renovated high-tech cardiac catheterization lab

Fla., (March 15, 2021) Tarpons Springs, Fla. - AdventHealth North Pinellas is pleased to announce the opening of its $1.7 million-dollar cardiac catheterization lab (cath lab). The newly renovated facility allows physicians to expand their capacity to provide expert heart care and leading-edge cardiac technology such as an electrophysiology 3-D mapping system and a state-of-the-art imaging system, giving patients the most precise information in diagnosis and treatment.

“We are committed to delivering the best care possible in our community,” said Raymond Ward, Director of AdventHealth North Pinellas Cardiovascular Services. “By renovating the cath lab, we will be able to provide our clinical expertise in heart care and provide our community with expanded access to the latest in cardiac treatments while keeping patients close to home.”

The renovation of the cath lab, is a part of AdventHealth North Pinellas’ multimillion-dollar capital project, to enhance the services provided to the community. The overall capital project also includes a new central energy plant, lobby renovation, and emergency room expansion, slated to open in Summer 2021.
