Volunteer Services Can Change a Life

When you volunteer with AdventHealth North Pinellas, you give the priceless gift of time. Whether you’re directly serving patients, supporting the needs of our clerical and administrative teams or helping visitors choose items from our Gift Shop to cheer up their loved ones, we can’t do it without you.

Volunteering is a great way to serve the Tarpon Springs community and share your unique skills — all while helping us fulfill our mission of extending the healing ministry of Christ.

Hospital volunteer opportunities are available for those ages 16 and older. Time commitments begin at one four-hour shift per week.

For more information on our volunteer services, contact Pamela Dameron-Bare at Call727-942-5072 or [email protected]. To get started as a volunteer, please click below and complete the form. We appreciate your interest and look forward to meeting you.

No One Dies Alone (NODA): Volunteering Comfort

In our last moments, we all deserve a hand to hold. At AdventHealth North Pinellas, we’ve launched No One Dies Alone (NODA), a program where volunteers can provide comfort and emotional support to dying individuals.

To honor the last hours of our patients’ lives, we offer a caring volunteer’s loving presence if no family or friends are present.

Volunteers rotate through two-hour shifts for as long as the patient would like. Volunteers must be 18 or older, and no clinical caregiving is required. We respectfully ask for volunteers who have not experienced the death of a loved one within the last year.

For more information, please contact our chaplain, Cristina Grys, at 727-942-5048 or [email protected]. To volunteer, click below to complete the application and write NODA in the title field so our volunteer team can place you in the appropriate program.
