— The AdventHealth Ottawa Auxiliary received the Gold Award of Excellence at the Hospital Auxiliaries of Kansas (HAK) convention this past week. This award is a non-competitive plan for encouraging individual Auxiliaries to "Exceed Their Own Effort". In order to receive this award, an Auxiliary must fulfill 17 requirements set by the state organization, including but not limited to community service, new projects, membership, scholarships and other items that keep an Auxiliary up to date.
